I just hooked up a new gadget. It’s a slideshow viewer which displays the latest pix sent via blogHUD. The ‘eye’ opens and closes when I tell it to. This method is MUCH more efficient and less laggy than the way I did it with the ‘flissl’ screen. I intend to use this method to create a new flissl screen to view image from flickr.

I was rather taken by the great reflection effect up here on the floor in the restaurant up th Rockefeller Center. All the chairs and tables and chandelier look great on the shiny floor. Then I realise that its a transparent floor, with replicas of everything upside down underneath! A great trick from Aimee Weber! Nice, if you dont have strict prim limits.

Even weirder. The NBC plots appear all next to eachother on the live map in world, but look at the blogHUD posts. The islands appear, miles apart!

Well! They ARE all clones of eachother. The whole sim. TEN of them! Sheesh! It’s a nice build, but a bit of a waste of resources. Until there’s something going on that I don’t know about.

At the ice rink in front of the Rockefeller Plaza build on one of the many NBC islands. From the map, they all look alike. Weeeiird!!
